Thai Son Bac wins Tiger Cup in Guangzhou
Vietnam’s futsal team Thai Son Bac defeated Singapore’s Touch N Go 4-3 in the final round to win the Tiger Cup in Guangzhou, China on July 8.
This was the first time the team won the championship title after ranking second and third four times earlier in the similar events.
The tournament involved 8 teams divided into two groups. Thai Son Bac competed with S3 team from France and Guangzhou A and Latinos teams from China in group A.
After securing second place, the Vietnamese team successfully made it to the semifinal and the final round to win a championship award of US$5,000.
