Taste of Australia event excites crowds in Hanoi

VOV.VN - Featuring a wide range of cuisine and delicacies from Australia, The Taste of Australia event was held in Hanoi on May 9, attracting large numbers of local people and foreign visitors.

Craig Chittick, the Australian Ambassador to Vietnam, attends the Taste of Australia event in Hanoi with guests.
Upon speaking at the event, Mr Chittick noted how the program has helped to deepen the relations between the two nations since upgrading ties to a strategic partnership.
Nguyen Quoc Dung, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed his wish that the ties between the two countries will continue to flourish in the time ahead.
 
Taste of Australia is an annual event that introduces Australian cuisine and culture to a Vietnamese audience.
Approximately 500 guests took part in the event.
Chef Luke Nguyen continued in his role as ambassador for Taste of Australia.
 
A replica of the Sydney Opera House on display
 
A special jazz performance put on by Australian singer Deni Hines entertains visitors.
Guests had the chance to sample Australian products, including wine.
