Swiss pop duo to tour Vietnam in late March

VOV.VN - Swiss electro-pop duo Sophie de Quay are set to arrive in Hanoi to perform at the “Nhip Cau Gan Ket” art programme in celebration of International Francophone Day, which is scheduled to be held at Thong Nhat Park on March 29.

According to the Embassy of Switzerland in Vietnam, the Swiss pop duo’s performance will be part of their tours to Hong Kong and Macau (China), Myanmar, Vietnam, and Laos.
During their stay in the Vietnamese capital, the two artists also take part in a workshop with the participation of students of the Vietnam National Academy of Music on March 27.

Originally born in Switzerland before being raised in Singapore and New York, leading vocalist Sophie has traveled to over 40 countries so far in her career, withher rich experiences reflected in her music. She met multi-instrumentalist and music producer Simon Jaccard in 2006, launching the group Sophie de Quay.

To date, they have together toured around the world and have more than 300 concerts to their credit.

VOV.VN - The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hanoi is planning a concert tour in the nation together with the Karlsruhe concert duo of Mr Reinhard Armleder (cello) and Ms Dagmar Hartmann (piano), with performances taking place in Hanoi, Hue, and in Binh Duong, as well as master classes in Hanoi.
