Students promote culture through multicultural fest

(VOV) -Vietnamese students are taking part in the annual Rouen Multicultural Festival in France from April 11-14.

Their stall features many unique traditional handicrafts from their homeland and has attracted a large number of visitors.

They are also hosting an ao dai (traditional long dress) fashion show, as well as a display of Dong Ho folk paintings, and introduce Vietnamese cuisine to international friends.

Deputy Chairman of the Vietnamese Students Association in France, Nguyen Viet Long, said the Vietnamese stall has enjoyed considerable success and was a special highlight of the festival.

The event aims to welcome France-Vietnam Year 2013-2014 and offers a good chance for the students to promote Vietnamese culture.
