Stevie Awards honours Muong Lo Culture and Tourism Festival 2019
VOV.VN - The Muong Lo Culture and Tourism Festival 2019 has been awarded the 2020 Gold Stevie Awards for Communications or PR Campaign of the Year.
Furthermore, a mass dance made up of 5,000 people as part of last year’s Muong Lo Festival won a silver medal in the Community Involvement Programme of the Year category.
In receiving the award Newday Media JSC, the festival’s organisers, has become the first Vietnamese media company to be given a Stevie Award.
Le Hai Yen, the director of the Muong Lo Culture and Tourism Festival 2019, will receive the prize during an online gala held on December 9 due to the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic.
The Muong Lo Culture and Tourism Festival 2019 had taken place in Nghia Lo town in the northern province of Yen Bai in September, with more than 20,000 participants involved in the event.
The Stevie Awards have been held annually since 2002 for the purpose of honouring and generating public recognition for the achievements and positive contributions made by organizations and working professionals worldwide.
