Sports Day ends Vietnam’s Committee Chairmanship
(VOV) - An ASEAN sport day was held in Moscow, Russia on October 11 by the Vietnamese embassy and the Association of Vietnam in Russia to mark the event.
At his opening speech, Vietnamese ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son said this is an opportunity for Vietnam to express respect and enhance mutual understanding between ASEAN countries and Russia.
Staff of ten ASEAN embassies and the Russian Foreign Ministry competed in four indoor sport events, including table tennis, volleyball, tennis and badminton.
The chairmanship of ASEAN-Moscow Committee will be given to the Brunei ambassador to Russia next term.
