(VOV) - A traditional Sri Lankan art troupe will perform at Hanoi’s Cong Nhan (Workers) Theatre on May 5.
The troupe consists of 14 artists who will present pieces like Pooja, Naga Raksha, Nalagana Vannama, Thelme, Devol Maduwa, Lee Keli, and Gini Sisila.
These are traditional dances celebrating virgin beauty and honouring Buddha and gods. Some form integral parts of festivals and religious ceremonies.
During their stay in Vietnam, the Sri Lankan art troupe will also visit Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh.
The performance programme is free to the public.
