VOV.VN - The National Stadium in Vientiane was illuminated on the evening of January 9 as the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Concert, a large-scale cultural event, celebrated the deep ties between the two countries.
The event marked a tribute from the Party, State, and people of Vietnam to the Party, State, and people of Laos, commemorating the 12th National Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and the 105th birth anniversary of Lao President Kaysone Phomvihane.
The concert was held by Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with Laos’ Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos, under the guidance and attention of senior leaders from both countries. It emphasised Vietnam’s strong, comprehensive support for Laos’ revolutionary path and ongoing development efforts.
