(VOV) - An installation by Nguyen Trinh Thi entitled “Solo for a Choir” will open at the Goethe Institute in Hanoi on April 18.
The event will be divided into two parts.
A video installation featuring multiple screens looping various HD video clips in vivid colours will be held from April 19-24.
Later, a live performance with changing artist ensembles will take place from April 25-27.
With “Solo for a Choir”, viewers will have the opportunity to see 15 portraits of artists from different art forms projected onto screens.
Audiences will get an experience similar to watching a play on the stage. From there, they can make different interpretations.
Nguyen Trinh Thi, 40 years old, is an independent film-maker. She also teaches in the Hanoi DocLab, a centre for video art and documentary that she founded in 2009.
