Semi-finalists decided in local cup
Thanh Nien's U21s drew with Thailand's U21s 1-1 to send both teams through to the semi-finals of the Thanh Nien International Football Tournament on October 23.
Topping Group A, Thanh Nien's U21s will play against Hoang Anh Gia Lai Arsenal JMG U19s on on October 25, whilst Thailand's U21s will meet Malaysia's U21s in the other semi-final on October 26.
Sydney's U21s defeated Hoang Anh Gia Lai JMG's U19s 2-1 in Group B on October 23 afternoon in Can Tho City, but it was not enough to send them through following a lucky pick to choose between them and Malaysia, who were tied on three points with a zero goal difference.
