Second international hot air balloon festival kicks off in Tuyen Quang

The five-day event attracted the participation of 20 hot air balloons managed by experienced pilots from different countries and territories globally, including Japan, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, the Netherlands, India, Slovakia, Russia, Taiwan (China), and Vietnam.

During the course of the festival, visitors will have the chance to fly in hot air balloons and view major local tourist sites from above, including the Na Hang-Lam Binh eco-tourism area. In addition, they will be able to participate in a series of entertainment activities such as exchanges between pilots and local students, as well as a special light shows.

Furthermore, they will have the opportunity to participate in unique festive activities aimed at celebrating the Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2023 involving kayaking activities on Na Hang lake, a fair on handicraft products of craft villages from across the country, a women’s football tournament, art performances, folk games, and a food festival.

With the message of "Tuyen Quang is a safe, friendly, attractive destination", the hot air balloon festival serves as a highlight for the Tuyen Quang Tourism Year, thereby contributing to realising the goal of welcoming more than 2.5 million tourists this year.
