Scorpions in Vietnam to perform at Monsoon Music Festival 2016

VOV.VN - Hanoians will have a unique opportunity to meet members of the German rock band Scorpions, who are special guests of Monsoon Music Festival 2016, scheduled for October in Hanoi. 

The information has been released by director of Monsoon Music Festival 2016 Quoc Trung in his Facebook page.

Scorpions is a world famous music band and the most successful one in Europe. In Germany, the band has sold more than one million copies of “Crazy World” and received double platinum for it.

Music composer Quoc Trung said the journey to Vietnam is part of a tour to mark the band’s 50th founding anniversary. Apart from Vietnam, Scorpions will perform in Japan, Singapore and the Republic of Korea.

Monsoon Music Festival 2016 attracts the participation of popular bands from other countries such as SaveUs from Denmark, Last Train from France, Rukhsana Merrise from the UK, Kite from Sweden, DJ Julien Sato and VJ 100LDK from Japan, Goodluck from South Africa, Idiotape from the Republic of Korea, DJ Brezel Goring from Germany, Lands from the US.

Vietnamese pop singer My Linh will represent Vietnam at the event and will introduce the project “Chat with Mozart 2” to audiences for the first time.

Monsoon Music Festival 2016 will be held in Hanoi's Thang Long Imperial Citadel on October 21-23.
