Romanian artist opens solo exhibition in Hanoi

VOV.VN - A solo art exhibition titled ‘Focus’ by the Romanian painter Sergiu Moise is being held at the Vietnam University of Fine Art, 42 Yet Kieu street, Hanoi from July 13-20.

On display are 26 paintings produced by Sergiu Moise over the past five years of his studies at the Vietnam University of Fine Art.

Sergiu Moise said he loves to experiment with Vietnam’s traditional paining techniques such as lacquer, silk, and oil on canvas.

Born in 1988 in Bucharest, Romania, Sergiu Moise won a painting scholarship to Vietnam. Since graduating in 2015, he has continued to paint artworks in Hanoi and spent time learning about Vietnamese culture.
