The Ta Tung Tu (Left Temple) relic in the complex of King Minh Mang’s tomb in central Thua Thien-Hue province has been re-opened after one year of restoration.
According to Director of the Hue Relic Preservation Centre Phan Thanh Hai, the restoration project cost US$46,000 offered by the World Monuments Fund.
Ta Tung Tu is a place of worship dedicated to high-ranking mandarins under the reign of King Minh Mang during the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945).
The project helped restore the most important worship area in the Tomb of King Ming Mang.
