The “Badanamu – Biet Doi Li Lac” series features world-famous children songs performed by the charming Badanamu characters of Bada, Jess, Mimi, Abby, Curly, and Pogo, who are adored all over the world.
HTV3 DreamsTV has undertaken the localization work of over 100 songs, varied from classic lullabies to modern melodies teaching children about the world around them. It is considered as one of the most intensive series of localized children music in Vietnam in terms of quantity and quality.
HTV3 DreamsTV, one of Vietnam’s leading educational entertainment channels, is the exclusive license owner to localize Badanamu songs for the Vietnamese market.
With familiar melodies and lyrics that tug at heartstrings and encourage beautiful emotions, the localized Badanamu songs promise to not only help children develop verbal and body language and essential preschool skills, but will also bring parents and children fun learning moments.
With vibrant episodic themes on animals, nature, weather, food, math, and reading, “Badanamu – Biet Doi Li Lac” will be on air on Saturdays and Sundays at 6:30 p.m., starting from August 3, 2019.
Launched in 2011, Badanamu is an educational product for children of Calm Island. Currently, Badanamu is present in more than 30 countries such as France, the U.S., South Korea, Singapore, the UK, and Egypt. Badanamu also owns over 200 song videos with more than 730 million views on YouTube.
The catchy melodies combined with vibrant images and fun choreography have a gradual yet effective way of teaching children about the world around them, getting them to learn about colors, math, animals, weather, time measurements, beautiful emotions and good habits.
Thanh Bui – CEO of Purpose Media JSC, operator of HTV3 DreamsTV, said: “Vietnamese music for children is now lacking cheerful, upbeat melodies and simple child-like lyrics like Badanamu songs. Therefore, we decided to take on this localization project so that children can listen, dance and sing along with these world-popular age-appropriate songs in Vietnamese.”
The localized Badanamu’s songs vary in different types, from Badanamu Talk - storytelling songs (Little Butterfly) to Badanamu Rhyme – rhythmic songs to sing along (Twinkle Twinkle), Badanamu Dance - upbeat songs to sing and dance along (Ponytail), and Badanamu Pops - attractive pop songs (Umpa Mumpa).
Encouraging children’s communication in early education with music stimuli, the Vietnamese lyrics used in Badanamu songs are simple, accompanied with relevant images and therefore easy to remember, easy to sing along. HTV3 DreamsTV hopes through these world-famous melodies, children can have a great time singing in their mother tongue language and learning new English vocabulary.
