Quy Nhon to host hot air balloon festival for upcoming national holiday
VOV.VN - The southcentral city of Quy Nhon in Binh Dinh province will host a hot air balloon festival for the first time, with the event scheduled to take place from April 25 to May 5.
Local residents and visitors to Quy Nhon will have the opportunity to experience the impressive performance put on by 15 hot-air balloons in the sky.
Besides festival goers will have the chance to take hot air balloon rides and contemplate the city from high above, with each ride lasting from five to 15 minutes.
The event is part of the Quy Nhon sea paradise tourism festival as part of the occasion of celebrating National Reunification Day on April 30 and International Labour Day on May 1.
Last year the province received more than 4.12 million visitors, marking an increase of 185.2% compared to 2021.
This year Binh Dinh province aims to welcome five million visitors and gain some VND16.4 trillion in tourism revenue.
