Quang Liem draws again at 2013 Spice Cup
(VOV) - Vietnamese chess player Le Quang Liem has added another tie to his record at the 2013 Spice Cup in Missouri, USA, drawing with Turkish opponent Alexander Ipatov on October 19.
This is Liem’s third consecutive draw of after winning his first three mathces at the tournament.
He remains in first place, followed by Ipatov, Russia’s Alex Yermolinsky, and the host nation’s Mackenzie Molner and Kayden Troff.
Liem (Elo 2712) will face Yermolinsky (Elo 2516) in his seventh match.
Yermolinsky won American championship titles in 1993 and 1996.
