This bold move brings Vietnamese music to one of the world’s most prestigious stages, home of the Academy Awards, affirming the global vision and artistic ambition of Vietnamese music.
Following successful performances at Esplanade Concert Hall (Singapore), Sydney Opera House (Australia), and Ho Chi Minh City, Sketch A Rose is set to reach new heights at the Dolby Theatre, marking the next chapter in the signer’s international career.
“Let's wear Vietnamese Ao Dai and meet each other in the US this fall!” the singer shared on social media.
“Sketch A Rose” is the biggest music project of Ha Anh Tuan’s career. It debuted in summer 2024 at Esplanade Concert Hall, marking the first time a Vietnamese artist brought a full-scale hometown concert to this cultural heart of Singapore.
Three months later, Tuan enthralled Australian tourists at the Sydney Opera House. He also donated VND500 million to the Blue Dragon Children's Foundation in support of disadvantaged children.
Returning to Vietnam, Tuan brought Sketch A Rose to Ho Chi Minh City, performing for 20,000 live spectators. The event featured artists like Yiruma, Lam Truong, Quang Hung MasterD, and over 150 musicians and performers, creating a grand, moving musical experience. He also announced a donation of VND4 billion (US$160,000) from the concert’s revenue to support Chồi Việt Nam, a charity initiative for children orphaned by the COVID-19 pandemic.
