Phuong Anh crowned Miss Ha Long 2018
VOV.VN - Nguyen Phuong Anh, 19, was crowned Miss Ha Long 2018 in the grand finale of the pageant which was recently held in Ha Long City in the northern province of Quang Ninh.

| Runner-up places went to Pham Thi Luyen, 23, from Cam Pha City and Dinh Thi Thu Uyen, 20, from Dam Ha District. |

| Miss Ha Long 2018 is held every two years. This is the 22nd time the pageant has taken place in the city. |

| Contestants take part in many activities during the pageant, which aims to promote the image of Quang Ninh to domestic and foreign tourists. |

| A particular highlight is the new Miss Tourism sub-contest, which helps contestants discover sightseeing spots through short films to advertise Quang Ninh Province in National Tourism Year 2018. |

| In the grand finale, twenty contestants take part in three events, modelling Ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress), swimsuits, and evening gowns, after which the organizing board selects the top 5 to progress to the Q&A session. |
