Phung Thi My crowned Miss Vietnam CIS
Phung Thi My June 27 was named Miss Vietnam at a beauty contest for Vietnamese girls in Russia and in Russia and all of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The Miss Vietnam CIS pageant drew the participation of 18 young Vietnamese living and studying in Russia, Ukraine and CIS countries. The pageant aimed to introduce the Vietnamese woman’s beauty and promote cultural exchange, as well as solidarity among Vietnamese nationals abroad.
Phung Thi My, together with runners-up Nguyen Thanh Huyen and Licarina, will take part in the final round of the Miss Vietnam Global 2010 contest to be held in Khanh Hoa this August.
