Themed “Reaching for the future”, the event celebrates International Children’s Day (June 1) and Vietnam Family Day (June 28) by creating an interesting playground with over 20,000 gifts for children, Phu My Hung Development Corporation said at a press conference.
Children will take part in 35 vocational, action and intellectual games that are useful and enjoyable, including color painting, jigsaw puzzle, assembling robots, tent-pitching and making sand paintings. These games will contribute to helping kids improve life skills, enhance creative thinking and develop communication skills.
It is also a chance for parents to listen to their children’s interests and aspiration for future job, and promote family bonding.
In addition, a “Mini Rock Show” with rock versions of children’s songs will add excitement to the festival.
Kids will have the opportunity to join a “Young talents of Phu My Hung” contest which is open to children aged between 4 and 15 to show their skills of singing, dancing, and performing musical instruments, martial arts and magic tricks.
Competition entry forms should be submitted no later than May 25, 2018. Total prize money is VND25 million (more than US$1,000).
