Photo of Vietnamese old woman sold for US$10,000
A photo titled “World’s most beautiful old woman” by French photographer Réhahn Croquevielle was sold for US$10,000, said the organisers of his Couleurs d’Asie exhibition which was held in Ho Chi Minh City from June 1-5.

The photo belongs to Réhahn’s project “Hidden smile” in 2014, which features an old woman named Xong (aged 80), a boat rower on Hoai River in Hoi An city of central Quang Nam province.
Part of the proceeds will be given to Xong each month. This is one of the artist’s efforts to support Vietnamese disadvantaged children, old people and ethnic minorities.
