The exhibition was opened on 27 by Asahi Shimbun newspaper and Mitsubishi Corporation under the sponsorship of the Japanese Embassy, the Japanese Business Association in Vietnam and the Vietnam-Japan Human Resources Cooperation Center (VJCC) as part of activities to celebrate 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties.
The photos show the local people’s reconstruction efforts with timely assistance from the Japanese and Vietnamese governments since the earthquake hit Tohoku region on March 11 two years ago.
