Photharam Beach Fest underway in Ratchaburi

The people of Ratchaburi and many tourists are flocking to Photharam district to be part of a pre-Chinese New Year festival. 

The event, locally known as Photharam Beach Festival, is taking place at the local freshwater beach which has been turned into a China Town walking street. 

The venue has become a photography hot-spot for the local people as well as those from other areas. 

The event, held on the theme of Chinese New Year celebrations, features a number of cultural and entertainment activities such as a performance of a Chinese opera, with Chinese food outlets, a display of Chinese deity images and a funfair. 

Photharam Beach Festival is on today, and tomorrow Sunday 15th January.
