Paris launches ‘Vietnam-the 5th Season’ writing contest
(VOV) -A creative writing contest entitled Vietnam Aux 5 Saisons (Vietnam-the 5th Season) has launched in France with the aim of promoting mutual understanding and friendship between the two nations.
The contest is open to all French residents regardless of age or nationality and the writing can be either Vietnamese or French.

In explaining the contest title at the launch, a member of the organizing board said throughout much of the world there are only four seasons in a year – spring, summer, autumn and winter – but in Vietnam there is a fifth— the season of culture.
The results of the competition will be announced next January 9, 2016.
The winner will receive a holiday in Vietnam with a free round trip airline ticket and a voucher to stay at a luxury resort.
