OVs in Seoul celebrate Vietnam-RoK diplomatic ties
(VOV) - Overseas Vietnamese (OVs) in Seoul organized an art performance at the Han Kyungchik Memorial Hall on May 24 in celebration of 23 years of Vietnam-RoK diplomatic ties.
The event, organized by the Overseas Vietnamese Association in collaboration with the Embassy of Vietnam in the RoK, was timed to coincide with the 125th anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday.
Speaking at the event, President of the Overseas Vietnamese Association Tran Hai Linh expressed his sincere thanks to HCM City municipal leaders, the Embassy of Vietnam in the RoK, Soongsil University and Vietjet Air for their support of the day’s festivities.
The art performance drew the participation of well-known Vietnamese singers Tieu Chau Nhu Quynh and Vo Ha Tram in addition to a large number of Vietnamese circus troupes.
Those in attendance also enjoyed a fashion show featuring a collection by famous Vietnamese designer Thuan Viet and a sand painting demonstration by Vietnamese artist Tri Duc.
