Overseas Vietnamese girl wins Miss Earth Vietnam 2023
VOV.VN - An overseas Vietnamese girl has been named winner of Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 and she will then represent Vietnam at the coming 23rd Miss Earth 2023 pageant to be held in December 2023.
Do Thi Lan Anh, who is residing in the United States, beat 29 other contestants in the final round, getting the VND1 billion crown and a VND100 million cash prize.
Lan Anh, 26, is 1.71 m tall, and has body measurements 85-60-95cm. She left her hometown at the age of 1 for Europe, and then moved to the US to settle down there with her family.
The beauty who has graduated from California State University Fullerton has many Vietnamese friends and loves Vietnamese food.
Lan Anh said she decided to take part in Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 because she intended to return to Vietnam to live and work towards developing and protecting the Vietnamese environment.
She will compete at the 23rd Miss Earth pageant to be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, this December.
The organisers also awarded Miss Fire Vietnam, Miss Water Vietnam and Miss Air Vietnam titles to other winners.
The final night was attended by reigning Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi, Miss Earth Air 2022 Sheridan Sayer Mortlock and Miss Earth Fire 2022 Andrea Aguilera Arroyave.
This is the first time Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 themed Me loves Tree has been held in a reality television format, creating a forum for beauties to have their voice, act together and raise public awareness about preserving and protecting the living environment.
