OV contestant enters Czech beauty pageant’s finale

(VOV) - Overseas Vietnamese girl Monika Leová has progressed to the final round of the national beauty pageant Miss Czech Republic for the first time.
The 22-year-old is one of the 10 selected contestants with a chance to win the competition.
Monika Leová has a Vietnamese father and a Czech mother who have divorced. She is now living with her grandparents in Pardubice province’s Dvorisko village.

She first became interested in fashion at the age of 15 and has since participated in numerous shows and photo shoots.
Monika Leová was previously awarded first runner-up in a 2012 beauty contest held by the University of Economics in Prague in 2012. She is studying in the science, technology, and statistics faculty.
The final night of Miss Czech Republic 2013 is scheduled for late March.
