Online concert celebrates Romanian National Day

The event is jointly held by the Institute of Music and Arts under the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) along with the Romanian Embassy in Vietnam, with the function aiming to boost cultural exchanges and strengthen ties of solidarity, friendship between the two nations.

Cellist Dinh Hoai Xuan, who is also an Honorary Representative of Romanian Music in Vietnam, believes that music can serve as a bridge to connect people of the two countries.

The occasion will see pianist Iulian Ochescu and students of the Institute of Music and Arts participate in the event.

They will perform pieces of works written by Romanian conductor George Enescu along with Vietnamese folk songs during the online concert.
