Nha Trang to host 2013 Sea Festival
(VOV) - The Vietnam Queen of the Sea contest will be held in the south-central province of Khanh Hoa from April 8 to June 10.
The event is under the framework of the 2013 Sea Festival themed “Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa, civilization and friendliness”.
Profiles of contestants are received from April 8 to May 3.
The qualifying rounds will be held in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Thua Thien-Hue and Khanh Hoa. The semi-final and the final will take place in Nha Trang City.
The last show on June 9 will be live broadcast on VTV3 channel.
The organizing board said the proceeds will be donated to the provincial fund for poor patients.
Twenty percent of the total prize money for three winners of the beauty contest will be transferred to the “Let’s Build Truong Sa” fund.
