National Table Tennis Club Championships conclude
(VOV) - The National Table Tennis Club Championships 2012 concluded in the northern province of Lang Son on October 26.
Nguyen Ngoc Thanh Phong and Tran Phu from Ho Chi Minh City faced each other in the men’s singles final, where the more experienced Phong defeated Phu 4-3 to defend his championship title.
Pham Thi Thu Huong from the T&T Hanoi club took the women’s singles title, while Vietnam’s No. 1 player Doan Kien Quoc and his younger brother, Doan Trong Nghia, from Khanh Hoa province were the winners in the men’s doubles event.
Khanh Hoa also did well in other categories with Phuoc Dai and Luong Thi Tam winning the women's doubles and Doan Trong Nghia and Luong Thi Tam placing first in the mixed doubles event.
The Thai Ha club from Hanoi won the men's team title and T&T Hanoi earned the women's team championship.
