National sports festival to be held in 2015
(VOV) - The 9th national sports festival will take place in the central provinces of Nghe An and Thanh Hoa in August 2015, one year earlier than scheduled in 2016 after every four years.
Over the past 30 years, the national sports festival has been held in the summers of 1983, 1987, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012.
The reason is that big world sports events such as the World Cup, Euro Cup and Olympic Games will be organized in 2016.
The 10th national sports event will take place in 2019.
