| My Linh was crowned Miss Vietnam 2016. In the Miss World 2017 pageant, she became the first ever Vietnamese winner of the “Beauty With A Purpose” award thanks to her project “Light Up The Darkness,” which was carried out in Cu Vai Village, Xa Ho Commune, Tram Tau District in the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai. |

| The Beauty With A Purpose competition as part of Miss Vietnam 2018 is organized by Tien Phong (Vanguard) newspaper and Sen Vang (Golden Lotus) Company. It will be broadcast at 10am every Sunday from July 15 on Vietnam Television’s VTV9 channel. |
