Movies and concerts cancelled following COVID-19 resurgence

VOV.VN - A number of local film premieres, music shows, and the production of a famous television show, have all been postponed amid the recent resurgence of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.

According to a film crew working on the movie “Gai Gia Lam Chieu V”, the premiere event which was due to be held on February 5 in Hanoi has been cancelled.

Elsewhere, the popular annual satirical comedy show “Gap nhau cuoi nam”, known as “Year-end gathering” in English and more commonly known as “Tao Quan”, “Kitchen Gods”, which airs on New Year's Eve on Vietnam Television (VTV), will be recorded without an audience. This will be done in an effort to ensure that COVID-19 prevention measures are followed.

Furthermore, a number of concerts involving famous singers, such as Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Giang Son, and Trong Tan will be also cancelled following the detection of positive COVID-19 cases in northern localities.
