This marks the third time that Linh has competed at an international male beauty pageant. Previously he made his mark on the global stage at Mister Tourism Universe 2017 in the Philippines, where he placed in the Top 10, and later earned the 4th runner-up title at Mister Grand International 2022 held in Trinidad and Tobago.

Born in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre, Vu Linh stands at 1.83 metres tall, weighs 75 kg, and measures 99-78-98.

The 28-year-old model was also the runner-up at Miss & Mr Fashion Vietnam and made it into the Top 10 of The Next Gentleman, a popular modelling competition.

In addition to his modelling career, he works as a flight attendant for Vietravel Airlines.

The Manhunt International pageant originally started in 1987, when Alex Liu, pageant director of Metromedia Singapore, decided to stage the first male model contest in Singapore. The contest then went global in 1993 and has since become one of the most prestigious male modeling competitions in the world.

Vietnam initially joined the contest in 2002, and it took time for local models to gain recognition. Ngo Tien Doan won the Best Body award in 2007 and Nguyen Van Thinh came second in the online poll a year later.

Most notably, model Ngoc Tinh was crowned as Mister Manhunt International 2017 and also won the Face of The Year, Mr Internet Popularity, and Best Fashion Model awards.

In 2018, Mai Tuan Anh was awarded the fourth runner-up title.

Hoang Son set to compete at Manhunt International 2024
