Mitshubishi Asian Children’s Enikki Festa launched
(VOV) - The Mitsubishi Asian Children’s Enikki (Illustrated Diary) Festa 2015-2016 was officially launched in Hanoi on September 15.
The event was co-organised by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan.
Vi Kien Thanh, head of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition said the event offered an opportunity for children to learn more about daily life of Asian people. Under the theme “Here is my Life”, the contest has been open to children in 24 Asian nations.
In Vietnam, the event is open to children age 5 and age 12 nationwide. Children can draw whatever they like including scenes from daily life, friends, family, customs, festivals, learning, entertainment, homeland and Vietnam.
Each person can send two sets of paintings (five paintings each). The picture consists of a short description based on the relevant theme.
The entry period is from November 23 -27. Eight winning paintings will be qualified for the final competition in Japan.
