Miss Vietnam 2012 helps flood victims in Thanh Hoa

Miss Vietnam 2012 Dang Thu Thao and the two runners-up from the national beauty contest, Duong Tu Anh and Do Hoang Anh, went to help flood victims in Thanh Hoa province.

They went with two other beauties from the contest: Vu Ngoc Anh (Miss Ao Dai-Traditional Vietnamese Dress) and Nguyen Thi Ha (Most Beautiful Skin) under a programme organized by Tien Phong (Vanguard) newspaper in co-ordination with the Thanh Hoa provincial Youth Union.

All expenses for the trip came out of the winning contestants’ awards they received on the final night of the Miss Vietnam 2012 pageant.

Of the VND100 million donated to help poor people in Thanh Hoa, VND75 million was contributed by the contestants and given to two primary schools in Lang Chanh and Tho Xuan districts.

The beauties also offered gifts of VND500,000 each to 40 poor students and five poor families in Tho Xuan district.
