Miss Universe 2023 Palacios set to visit Vietnam in late April
VOV.VN - Sheynnis Palacios, Miss Universe 2023, is scheduled to arrive in Vietnam for a working trip from April 27 to 30 as part of her Asian tour, according to Miss Universe website.
The beauty queen’s schedule was not disclosed, but Vietnamese newspaper Tien Phong (Vanguard) reported that Palacios would work with organisers of the Miss Universe Vietnam pageant to prepare for the Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 contest and seek a representative to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico.
This is Palacios’ first visit Vietnam after she took the crown last November.
Vietnam is one of her stopovers during the Asian tour that will also take the Nicaraguan beauty to Hong Kong (China), Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and India.
Previously she paid working trips to seven countries in North America, South America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
Palacios, 24, is currently a Nicaraguan model. She became the first Nicaraguan to win Miss Universe, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants alongside Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth.
Prior to Miss Universe, Palacios competed in Miss World 2021 and finished in the Top 40.
