Minh enters quarterfinal of Chinese Taipei Open
(VOV) - Vietnamese badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh has enjoyed consecutive successes at the 2012 Chinese Taipei Open, advancing to the quarterfinals on October 4.
In a match lasting 39 minutes, Minh defeated his Malaysian opponent Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin 2-0 to earn his second victory.
On October 5, Minh will meet Chinese player Wing Ki Wong, who trounced Singaporean Chen Yong Zhao Ashton 2-0.
Wing Ki Wong is currently ranked 22nd in the world and seeded 6th at the Chinese Taipei Open.
