Local contestant unveils national costume at Manhunt International 2022
VOV.VN - Tran Manh Kien, the Vietnamese representative at Manhunt International 2022, has released the outfit which he will wear during the upcoming national costume segment of the global male pageant.
The outfit was designed by Le Long Dung and features an image of an eagle which sends a message about the world’s revival following the damaging consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kien resides in Vinh Phuc province, stands at 1.85 metres tall, and measures 108-79-100.
He has prior experience competing in beauty pageants, having previously appeared in Mister Vietnam 2019, although he ultimately failed to win the top title.
This year the grand final of the Manhunt International 2022 male pageant is scheduled to take place on October 2 in the Philippines.
Manhunt International originally started back in 1993, with the annual contest resuming after two years of disruption caused due to the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vietnam initially began participating in the international male pageant in 2002. Most notably, local representative Ngoc Tinh was crowned Mister Manhunt International 2017, whilst he also won the Face of The Year, Mr Internet Popularity, and Best Fashion Model awards.
Elsewhere, 2018 saw Mai Tuan Anh awarded the fourth runner-up title.
