Liem’s glory at Spice Cup
(VOV) - Vietnamese chess player Le Quang Liem covered himself in glory again when he trounced American rival Kayden Troff in the second match of the Spice Cup held in Missouri State, USA, on October 17.
After two consecutive wins, he has added 2.4 points to his Elo rating of 2712.
Liem is scheduled to meet Lenderman (Elo 2539), who has also won the first two matches of the Spice Cup.
Lenderman is a Russian-American chess player known as the Grandmaster (GM) and champion of the U16 division of the 2005 World Youth Chess Championships.
