Le Au Ngan Anh set to compete at Miss Intercontinental 2018

VOV.VN -Le Au Ngan Anh, winner of Miss Ocean Vietnam 2017, has revealed that she is waiting for permission from the Department of Performing Arts to compete at Miss Intercontinental 2018.

If her application gets approval, the 23- year-old beauty will represent Vietnam at the Miss Intercontinental 2018 beauty pageant, set to take place in the Philippines between January 8 and 26.

This year, over 90 contestants from around the world are set to compete at the pageant.

Ngan said after winning the Miss Ocean Vietnam 2017 crown, she received a number of invitations from international beauty pageants.

The Tien Giang native believes that she will be a strong opponent for any contestant at Miss Intercontinental 2018.

Ngan Anh has spent lots of time training and focusing on improving the necessary pageant skills with leading experts in Vietnam’s training center for beauty queens.

Miss Ocean 2017 surprised her fans as she became the first Southeastern Asian student of well-known Filipino pageant expert Jonas Gaffud.

Through Jonas Gaffud’s guidance, a number of Filipino beauties have gone on to win the highest places at prestige beauty pageants, such as Miss Universe 2015, Miss World 2013, Miss Supranational 2013, as well as the Miss International 2013 and 2016 titles.
