Lai Huong Thao crowned Miss Sports 2012
Lai Huong Thao defeated 34 other contestants to win the Miss Sports 2012 title in the competition in the central coastal city of Danang on August 5.
Born in Quang Ninh province, the 21-year-old beauty is 1.67 metres tall and weighs 54kg, with measurements of 89-61.5-91.5. She is currently a student at Haiphong Private University.
Duong Thi Ha Giang from Ha Giang province was named the first runner-up and the title of second runner-up went to Giang Thi Chuong from Lang Son province.
Winners of the other prizes included:
- Miss Friendly: Luu Thi Van Phung
- Miss Talent: Vu Thuy Linh
- Miss Best Skin: Nguyen Ngoc Lan Huong
- Miss Best Face: Vu Ngoc Hoang Anh
- Miss Public Favourite as voted via SMS: Le Nguyen Minh Hang
She will represent Vietnam in the Miss Supranational 2012 competition in Poland later this month.
