Korean artists performing musical instruments enthrall locals in Da Nang
VOV.VN - A street parade featuring musical instrument performances put on by Korean art troupes excited crowds in Da Nang on September 6 ahead of the Vietnam-Republic of Korea (RoK) culture exchange festival.
The event draws the participation of nearly 100 Korean artists from 12 troupes, along with 20 students from Duy Tan University in Da Nang who took part in the event.
Both groups either wore the Korean costume hanbok or an Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) before joining a parade on the banks of Han River.
Korean musical instruments such as Jang-gu, kkwaenggwari, Sogo, and Buk were introduced to both locals and tourists.
The Vietnam-RoK culture exchange festival from September 7 to September 9 is a part of activities aimed at marking the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties.
A showcase of Taekwondo performed by Korean club Seung Ri will also be presented as part of the occasion.
Furthermore, the festival will include a total of 60 stalls showcasing Vietnamese and Korean cuisine. Visitors will be able to take part in folk games and cooking contests.
The final round of the Vietnam-RoK Talent competition will be held, with the competition featuring over 20 performances of entrants from both countries.
