Kindermusik to launch music education program in Vietnam

VOV.VN - Asia Music & Performing Arts Education - AMPA Education will launch a music education program for children named Kindermusik at the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Soul Music & Performing Arts Academy on April 14.

The launch ceremony for the music education program is expected to attract the participation of Scott Kinsey, CEO of Kindermusik US, and Ms Jeannie Castillo, senior expert of International Kindermusik, artist Thanh Bui, Trieu Yen, who has an MA in music, and other devoted experts from the area of child education.

Kindermusik was established in 1978 and has developed programs in 60 nations around the world based on the core value of aiding the comprehensive development of children. The program is designed to stimulate the child’s brain, strengthen the development of reading and language in early stages, build gross and fine motor skills, and enhance social-emotional development.

The Kindermusik music education program in Vietnam will incorporate several Vietnamese factors such as songs and games to help children perceive and approach music in a natural way. There are five degrees of teaching for children aged between 0 and 5.

AMPA Education is a charitable organization and the sole representative unit of Kindermusik in Vietnam. It is also the only centre to organise training courses, to train and grant international certificates to Kindermusik teachers in the region.
