Kids set to enjoy Mid-Autumn Festival at ethnology museum
VOV.VN - Children in Hanoi will have the chance to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology on September 26 and 27.
Artisans will be on hand to guide participants on how to make traditional toys such as star-shaped lanterns and folk paper masks.
Furthermore, children will be able to participate in various folk games, such as tug-of-war, stilt walking, and other traditional games of ethnic minority groups from across the country.
The organisers of the event will also set up booths aimed at introducing local cuisine and a range of handicraft products from various ethnic groups to visitors.
The Mid-Autumn Festival traditionally falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, with people often preparing trays filled with mooncakes, candy, and fruit to celebrate the annual event.
