Japanese guitarist Satoshi Gogo to play at Sungha Jung’s concert

VOV.VN - Japanese fingerstyle guitarist Satoshi Gogo will be a special guest performer at Sungha Jung live in Vietnam 2018, according to the organizing board of the concert.

Sungha Jung live in Vietnam 2018 is the fifth consecutive year that Korean guitarist Sungha Jung has brought his music tour to Vietnam. The 22-year-old guitarist will perform a pair of live concerts in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi on September 15 and 16.

Satoshi Gogo, 30, is a talented Japanese guitarist. He started playing guitar when he was 12 years old.

In 2004, at the age of 16, Satoshi won first prize at Fingerpicking Morris, becoming the youngest guitarist to ever win the contest. He then published his first solo album.

In 2013, he got through to the semi-finalists of the Instrumental category in the International Songwriting Competition and produced his second album "Bedtime Story".

Satoshi has had the honour of working with famous Japanese composers such as Chikuzen Sato, Kousetsu Minami, Yosuke Onuma and has written pieces of music for television and radio programmes in Japan.

In 2017 he released his fourth album “Shipmates” and he recently performed a series of concerts in the UK, Finland, Sweden, Australia and several East Asian countries.
