(VOV) - Japanese football expert Kazuyoshi Tanabe will arrive in Vietnam on February 20 to assist the Vietnam National Football Championship’s (V-League) reform efforts.
Vietnam Professional Football (VPF) that runs V-League invited Tanabe after he was recommended by the J-League to contribute to the improvement of local football organisations.
Tanabe has previously worked for Japanese football clubs including Yokohama, age-old Avispa, Fukuoka, and Ryukyu.
He boasts extensive experience in club and league finance management, sponsorship contract negotiations, and in devising long-term development strategies for football championships.
Many Vietnamese football fans are hopeful Tanabe will help the V-League flourish in 2013.
