(VOV) - An exhibition entitled “Japan Handmade: Crafts and Design from Kyoto” opened in Hanoi on April 23.
The event, co-organized by the Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts, the Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam Design House, aims to commemorate 40 years of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties.

On display are special items and short films produced by young craftsmen in Kyoto.
As Japan’s former imperial capital, Kyoto has an abundant supply of craftspeople and high-quality products.

The exhibition will last through to May 12.
