Japanese art of flower arrangement on show in Hanoi exhibition

VOV.VN - Ikebana, the Japanese art of arranging flowers, went on show in Hanoi from November 2 to 3.

The event is held annually over two days and is organised by the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam. |

A variety of flower arrangements produced by both Japanese and Vietnamese artists are put on display at the occasion for viewers to enjoy. |

Over 30 artworks can be seen throughout the exhibition, each one drawing inspiration from the environment. |

Each flower arrangement is done following the nation’s traditional handicraft styles such as giay do, known as poonah paper, Dong Ho folk painting, bamboo, and rattan. |
