Japanese art of flower arrangement on show in Hanoi exhibition

VOV.VN - Ikebana, the Japanese art of arranging flowers, went on show in Hanoi from November 2 to 3.

The event is held annually over two days and is organised by the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam.
A variety of flower arrangements produced by both Japanese and Vietnamese artists are put on display at the occasion for viewers to enjoy.
Over 30 artworks can be seen throughout the exhibition, each one drawing inspiration from the environment.
Each flower arrangement is done following the nation’s traditional handicraft styles such as giay do, known as poonah paper, Dong Ho folk painting, bamboo, and rattan.
